The 8th Vienna International Conference on Mathematical Modelling (MATHMOD 2015) took place at Vienna University of Technology in February 18-20, 2015.

Approximately 300 participants attended MATHMOD 2015 to present and discuss new trends in mathematical modelling. All contributions accepted for MATHMOD 2015 went through a thorough peer review process. A total number of 234 papers were accepted for presentation at MATHMOD 2015 conference, among them 138 Full Contributions and 96 Discussion and Student Contributions. The Full Contribution papers are published at IFAC-PapersOnLine.
